On the occasion of CHART 2026, Galleri Susanne Ottesen presents new works by Olav Christopher Jenssen, Fatima Moallim, Kehnet Nielsen and Bjørn Nørgaard across the fair’s many formats, while earlier works by the same artists will feature in a paired exhibition, on view at the gallery. Some have never before been exhibited in Denmark; other works re-emerge after more than a decade in storage. Preserved through the gallery’s long-term relationships with its artists, holdings reflects a commitment to continuity and care while inviting reflection on a commercial art world that often prizes the swift passage from the artist’s studio and into a collection. Here, storage is understood not as inactive or having diminished value, but as a space of possibility – a place where works are cared for until the right context, conversation, or constellation brings them forward once more. Their reappearance is not a return to the past, but an invitation to a new encounter.
